My Guys Time vs QuickBooks Time (formerly TSheets)
QuickBooks Time vs My Guys Time: Per-User Fees or One Flat Price
Stop paying per head.
Per-seat pricing punishes you for growing. Hire a guy Monday, pay more next month. Bring on seasonal help, pay for seats that sit empty all winter. Add a 1099 sub to the job, pay for him too. My Guys Time was built on the opposite idea: why should the app cost more because you hired another guy? One flat price, the whole company, no seats to count.
QuickBooks Time, formerly TSheets, is priced with a monthly base fee plus a fee for every user, on Premium and Elite plans, and it needs a QuickBooks Online subscription. Elite adds things like geofencing and mileage tracking. My Guys Time is a simpler crew time card at $12/month flat for the whole company. No per-user fees, and no QuickBooks subscription required.

What QuickBooks Time costs you every week
If any of these sound like your week, the pricing model is working against you.
A base fee, then a fee for every guy
QuickBooks Time charges a monthly base fee, then adds a fee for each user on top. New laborer starts Monday, the bill goes up next month. And it runs on top of a QuickBooks Online subscription, so that's another bill before you track a single hour.
Seasonal crews cost you year-round
You hire in spring and lose guys by fall. On a per-user plan, you're managing who's on the bill every time the crew changes. Construction isn't a same-headcount-all-year business.
Subs count too
The 1099 crew on your big job still counts as users on a per-user plan. You pay to track guys who aren't even your employees.
Built for HR, not the field
Office time software comes with settings panels, admin screens and features nobody in the truck asked for. You need a time card, not an HR platform.

Crew logs from the field
Each guy joins the crew team from his own phone. He or the foreman logs the hours on the job, the day they're worked. No per-user fees, no onboarding course.
Add guys as you need them
New laborer or a seasonal guy for the summer? Send him an invite link. He's on the board and the bill doesn't move.
You review the week
Foreman-approved cards, W-2 and 1099 guys on one board, receipt photos attached.
Hand it to payroll
Hand the approved week to whoever runs payroll, including your QuickBooks bookkeeper. Keep your accounting; fix your time tracking.
One price. The whole crew.
That's the entire pricing page: $12 a month, flat, for everybody: foremen, laborers, subs, office. Seven-day free trial, cancel anytime from the billing portal. No tiers, no seat math, no surprise invoice because you had a good hiring month.
QuickBooks Time questions, answered straight
Is QuickBooks Time the same as TSheets?+
Yes. Intuit renamed TSheets to QuickBooks Time, and its announcement says the features stayed the same. If you're looking for a TSheets alternative, you're looking at QuickBooks Time.
How much does QuickBooks Time cost?+
QuickBooks Time charges a monthly base fee plus a fee for each user, and the amounts depend on the plan. You also need a QuickBooks Online subscription. Check Intuit's pricing page for current rates. My Guys Time is $12/month flat for the whole company. We compare the models in what crew time apps cost.
What's the difference between QuickBooks Time Premium and Elite?+
Per Intuit's site, Elite adds geofencing reminders, mileage tracking, project tracking with estimates vs actuals reporting, and timesheet signatures. Both plans include the time tracking app, a time kiosk and scheduling.
We already use QuickBooks for accounting. Does this replace it?+
No. Keep your accounting. My Guys Time handles the time cards: daily logging, the foreman's sign-off and the weekly review. It's the part your crew actually touches. When the week is approved, hand the hours to whoever runs payroll.
Can it handle a bigger crew?+
The flat price covers the whole company, 5 guys or 50.
$12 a month for the whole company: what's the catch?+
No catch. No tiers, no per-seat fees, no feature gates. The 7-day trial costs nothing and you can cancel anytime from the billing portal. It costs $12 because a time card shouldn't cost more than that.
